Beaumont Magnet Community School is partnering with KCDC for the Annual Fall Festival on November 5 at on the Beaumont playground. The event will be held from 11 am – 1 pm and will feature more than 30 community partners with fun activities students and snacks for the whole community.
“We have had a great event over the years. This is a big community and partner effort to celebrate our fantastic community,” said Jill Akin, Beaumont Magnet Community School’s site resource coordinator.
Activities will include these and many more:
• a K-9 demonstration by the Knoxville Police Department
• a Robot demonstration by the Bomb Squad
• a Book Mobile
• a Bike Rodeo and bike giveaway to a few lucky guests
• Fall-themed games and face painting
Our partners are also providing free hotdogs, popcorn, chips and water.
And while children enjoy the fun activities, adults will be able to learn about some of the many health, education, employment and recreation resources available in our community.
This is the fourth year that Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) and Great Schools Partnership has partnered to host Beaumont’s Community Fall Festival.
